“ If you're in the Biddeford area and love little stores that will surprise you with low prices then hit Trans Market. I've been craving Chinese lately but the sodium kills me so I decided to make it at home. I hit Market basket and Hannaford and couldn't find everything I needed so ok I'll go to Trans. It's a small family run business but there amazing. Everything is labeled (in English) and priced. And they have anything and everything you could possibly need for cooking. They have fresh produce (usually cheaper) than the other markets , they have every spice-seasoning-sauce-condiment you can think of. Freezers and coolers filled with the foods you buy at the restaurants or order out for and you just need to cook and eat for a fraction of what you'd pay for delivery or take out with bigger portions. But I went in and got 7 items. Egg roll wrappers, dumpling wrappers, dumpling sauce, fresh ginger, red cabbage and green cabbage and a pkg of 5 spice seasoning. Anywhere else I'd expect to pay $20 or more for everything but at Trans I only spent $11.34 Less than $12 and I didn't have coupons or anything that would give discounts. For those who watch the cooking shows and see new foods and ingredients this is a great place to shop, I'm seeing ingredients like I see on the shows, kinda nice to be able to cook like a chef instead of doing deliveries or heating up the frozen ready to buy meals in the stores at double the prices.
